Before starting his own consulting business in 1991, Jim held major strategic planning and business development responsibilities at two Fortune 500 firms (not at the same time . . . he is good, but he is not that good), including existing business acquisitions, new start-up ventures, and overseeing other new market and product opportunities for multiple business units.

These diverse business experiences provide Jim with a very knowledgeable and very objective approach to research and planning. He understands, and makes his clients understand, that “research and plans are useless unless you intend to use them.”
